Santiago is the capital of Chile, and the center of its largest conurbation (Greater Santiago). It was founded by the Spanish Conquistador Pedro de Vadivia on February 12th, 1541 in the Río Mapocho Valley, at the foothills of the Santa Lucía hill. It is located in the Central Valley, between the Cordillera de la Costa and Cordillera de los Andes. The climate of this area is Mediterranean and warm. The most important win-eries in the country are located in the valleys surrounding Santiago, a few kilometers away from the city. Its proximity to the Andes mountains lets visitors enjoy winter sports in Valle Nevado, Portillo and Farellones ski resorts. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean allows also visiting the colorful Valparaíso and the nice beaches of Viña del Mar.

Three keynote speeches by internationally renowned experts in control and automation, together with a plenary panel discussion forum on emerging topics will be arranged in the conference program.

Submission of Papers

Authors should submit the full version of their manuscripts online through the conference web site at http://uav.ece.nus.edu.sg/~icca11/. General inquiries should be addressed to the Program Chair, Professor Hai Lin at the National University of Singapore (Email: ieee-icca2011ntu.edu.sg).

Proposals for invited sessions in the related areas are also solicited and should be submitted through email to Invited Session Chairs, Professor Gary Feng at the City University of Hong Kong (Email: megfengcityu.edu.hk) and Professor Jianxin Xu at the National University of Singapore (Email: elexujxnus.edu.sg).

All materials must be written in English, and a paper should be submitted only if you intend to present the paper at the conference. The manuscript to be submitted to the conference should contain sufficient details including key concepts and novel fea-tures of the work. It should include the title, authors, mailing addresses, affiliations, telephone and fax numbers and email addresses.
