    Call For Papers - CFP

International Workshop on Cognitive Radio and Smart Antennas

This is the second year for the workshop on Cognitive Radio, co-located with IMSAA 2011. Cognitive radio and networks are considered the key to futuristic reconfigurable communication and networking. Apart from efficient use of the spectrum, they can facilitate the integration of different wireless systems. The Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) formed out of cognitive radios extends the radio link-level features to network layer functions and above. There has been considerable interest in integrating the advantages of cognitive radio and capabilities of multiple antenna systems, including the use of Smart Antennas to reduce interference to the licensed users as well as clever ways of spectrum sharing.

For the International Workshop on Cognitive Radio and Smart Antennas (CORSA), we invite papers offering novel research contributions in all aspects of cognitive radio/networks and smart antennas

    Topics of Interests

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

? Cognitive Radio and Network Architectures

? Wideband Sensing and Multiband Agile Wireless Networks

    ? Dynamic Spectrum Sharing Techniques

? Cooperative Resource Management and Optimization

    ? Interference Measurements and Metrics

    ? Cross-Layer Design Issues

? QoS Provisioning in Adaptive, Spectrum Agile, and Cognitive Networks

? Interoperability, Interference and Co-Existence of Dissimilar Wireless Networks

? Antennas for Beam forming and Diversity

? Multi-antenna Channel Measurements and Modeling

? Beam forming and Source Localization

    ? Space-Time Processing, Space-Time Coding

? Multicarrier and Multiuser Communications Relevant to CRN

? Relaying and Multi hop Techniques

    ? Cooperative and Sensor Networks

    Guidelines for Submission

Submitted papers must represent original material that is not currently under review in any other conference or journal, and has not been previously published. Paper length should not exceed five-page technical paper manuscript. Please see Author Information page for submission guidelines at IMSAA 2010 website. The paper should be used as the basis for a 20- 30 minute Workshop presentation. All the accepted papers will be available on IEEE Xplore.
