Call For Papers - CFP
NTTCM'2014 New Trends in Trust Computational Modelshttp://nttcm2014.it.ubi.ptJune 30 to July 3 2014 University of Minho, Guimarães, PortugalSCOPEWe are seeking papers describing innovative approaches in trust representation, modelling and processing. NNTCM'2014 will include technical aspects on how trust can be modelled and represented in computational environments, by addressing advances in the theory, design, implementation, analysis, and application of trust concepts. There is also interest in knowing how trust methodologies and concepts from different areas can be transposed and adapted in other fields scenarios by discussing the advantages and limitations of the different trust implementations currently being developed.Focus will be on new and emerging areas such as immersive environments, cloud services and information systems reliability, but also on insights from social sciences in cognitive developments and mediated computational interactions. We also would like to contribute to consolidate the field of trust computing by presenting and discussing emergent scenarios that would benefit from further integration of trust conceptualizations. We are particularly interested in papers that relate complementary trust methodologies, using conceptualizations from different contexts and backgrounds in the development of new and innovative computational trust models. We encourage original research contributions in trust representation, modelling and processing as well as practical developments and experimental results in trust and related topics.TOPICSRelevant topics include but are not limited to:Online ServicesSocial and Cognitive DevelopmentsImmersive EnvironmentsComputational ConceptualizationsTheoretical FrameworksSocial NetworksVirtual WorldsManagement ModelsAugmented RealityMassively Multiplayer Online GamesAnonymity and TrustSecurity DevelopmentsModelling in NetworksDigital Rights ManagementTrust ComputingReputation ModelsTrust AlgorithmsPractical ImplementationsHolistic TrendsUbiquity and TrustProvenance and TrustInformation Systems ScenariosCloud Trust IssuesBiological ModelsCritical InfrastructuresHuman Computer InterfacesVirtualization and TrustAgents and Multiagent SystemsSUBMISSION GUIDELINESFORMATTINGSubmitted papers must not exceed 16 pages, be camera-ready and follow LNCS formatting guidelines.PROCEEDINGSWorkshop Proceedings will be made available at the venue in electronic format.PUBLICATIONThe accepted papers presented orally in the Workshop will be published by Springer-Verlag's, Lecture Notes in Computer Science series, in the ICCSA'2014 Conference LNCS proceedings volume.INDEXATIONThe NTTCM'2014 Workshop papers published in a Springer LNCS volume, will be indexed in the following services:ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science(CPCI-S) included in ISI Web of Science,EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases),ACM Digital Library, dblp,Google Scholar,IO-Port,MathSciNet,Scopus,Zentralblatt MATH.REGISTRATIONRegistration and oral presentation at the workshop is compulsory for at least one of the authors of the accepted papers.COPYRIGHTEach paper must be an original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere.
