Call For Papers - CFP
INISCom 2015 is a premier conference that provides an excellent forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to present and discuss the latest technology, advancement, and future directions and trends in (1) industrial networks and applications, (2) intelligent systems and applications, (3) information processing and data analysis, and (4) Hardware and software design and development. HighlightsThe Conference will be technically co-sponsored by IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore Digital Library and for indexing to Google Scholar, ISI, EICompendex, Scopus and many more.Accepted papers after presentation and extension may be invited to be published in either ACM/Springer Mobile Networks & Applications (are SCI-indexed) or EAI Endorsed Transactions on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems. Conference topicsAuthors are invited to submit full papers describing original research or innovative practical applications in areas including, but not limited to: Industrial networks and applicationsNew architectures, protocols and applications for industrial networks, including control network, communication network, sensor network, body area network, social network, opportunistic network, and cloud-based networkAnalysis of industrial networks, including network lifetime, scalability and stability, transmission reliability, quality of service, security, etc.Intelligent systems and applicationsComputational intelligence in automation, including neural, fuzzy and evolutionary approaches, ant colonies optimization, swarm intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, expert systems, multi‐agent systems, game and decision theories, etc.Industrial applications of intelligent systems Information processing and data analysisAudio/image/video processingData mining, pattern recognition, estimation and identificationInformation fusion, compressive sensing, signal transforming and filteringFault detection and diagnosisOptimization techniquesBig data analysis and processing Hardware and software design and development Analogue/Digital system design and structuresDesign and analysis of embedded industrial systems, including real-time computing, operating systems, communications, etc.Modelling and analysis tools for industrial networks and intelligent systemsSimulation and testbed of current industrial networks and intelligent systemsWorkshop proposalsThe INISCom 2015 conference caters for a limited number of workshops on dedicated session topics. The main objective of the workshops is to explore emerging research issues related to the main conference, and to provide a venue for authors to present early research results on them. Workshop papers are expected to be focused on more specific research areas than those in the main conference. Proposals are welcome for workshops that will touch aspects of high interest with this flavor.A proposal to organize a workshop should include the following information: (1) the title, scope and topics of the workshop, (2) name, affiliation and biographies of the organizer, (3) tentative committee lists, (4) workshop format planned (papers, demos, panels, etc.), (5) past history of the workshop (where held, number of papers, number of participants), (6) rationale - why is the topic relevant of current interest; why is the workshop expected to attract a significant number of submissions of high quality, (7) a draft CFP of the workshop. Workshop sessions are expected to last 90-120 minutes, but a workshop may comprise multiple sessions.Workshop organizers should send their workshop proposals to the Workshop Chair by email on or before June 1, 2014. Notification of acceptance for workshop proposals will be on July 1, 2014.Paper submissionPapers should be no more than 10 pages in length. Complete formatting and submission instructions can be found on the conference web site. Submissions will be reviewed anonymously by at least three expert reviewers.Papers will be judged on originality, correctness, clarity and relevance. Submitted papers must be original work, and may not be under consideration for another conference or journal.Submission of the paper implies agreement of the author(s) to attend the conference and present the paper if accepted. PublicationAccepted papers will be published in the INISCom Conference Proceedings and submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore Digital Library and for indexing to Google Scholar, ISI, EICompendex, Scopus and many more. Selected papers may be invited to publish in the EAI endorsed Transaction on Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems.
