    ***About HCC 2014***

    Human-Centered Computing (HCC) is a rapidly evolving interdisciplinary field of human-computer interaction (HCI), computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), social computing, collaborative computing, ubiquitous computing, services computing, etc., which focuses on the innovative theory, principles, technology, design, implementation and deployment of computing systems, cognitive and social systems, and physical facilities and environments that supporting human’s activities.

    Cluster Computing agrees to have a SP for HCC conference.

    The conference features the following three sessions and welcomes submissions from both academic and industries.

    -INFRASTRUCTURE

    Internet of Things, Smart Environment, Multi-device collaboration, Sen-sor Network, Body Area Network, Mobile Network, Cloud, Virtualisation

    -DATA

    Big Data: storage, visualisation, and analytics, Linked Data, Open Data Knowledge Processing / Management, Data Science

    -COLLABORATION

    Context-aware Computing, Pervasive Business, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, Social Informatics, Social Computing, Collaborative Service and Process

    You are also encouraged to submit demonstrate work in progress and late breaking research and development results that show the latest innovative ideas. We sincerely extend our invitation to experienced academics as well as young researchers to present their ongoing work and preliminary results.

    The goal of HCC2014 is to further explore both theoretical and practical issues in and around the emerging computing paradigms, e.g. pervasive collaboration, collaborative business, networked societies. In 2014, more emphasis is being placed on the Data Stream Analysis, Context-awareness, and Intelligent Society. HCC2014 would like to solicit contributions to three themes:

    -TRACK01 - INFRASTRUCTURE Internet of Things, Smart Environment, Multi-device collaboration, Sen-sor Network, Body Area Network, Mobile Network, Cloud, Virtualisation

    -TRACK02 - DATA Big Data: storage, visualisation, and analytics, Linked Data, Open Data Knowledge Processing / Management, Data Science

    -TRACK03 - COLLABORATION Context-aware Computing, Pervasive Business, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, Social Informatics, Social Computing, Collaborative Service and Process

    ***Publication***

    Papers should not exceed fourteen (14) pages in length and must be formatted according to the information for LNCS authors. All papers will be peer-reviewed by members of the HCC2014 programme committee. Papers are selected based on their originality, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extensively expanded version of their papers to be considered for publication in special issues in international journals.

    Papers must be submitted in PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format) or MS Words format and will not be accepted in any other format. Papers that exceed 14 pages or do not follow the LNCS guidelines risk being rejected automatically without a review. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. More information about the Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) are available on the Springer LNCS Web site.
