    Good Manufacturing Practices always going to be a hot topic: Every food manufacturer needs to comply with this basic regulation. It is fundamental for the construction of a food safety system in the manufacturing process. GMP is a standard which covers the manufacturing of packaging made of corrugated and solid board in order to fulfill legal requirements according to EU regulations 1935/2004/EG for food contact materials.

    It will provide food professional's essential knowledge on the application and understanding of the GMP's in a manufacturing plant. According to the food safety Act, in the development, production, distribution, advertising or sale of food products all reasonable precautions have to be taken. Therefore all the players of the supply chain (be it the packers, the producers or the suppliers) are responsible for guarantying the quality, safety, and hygiene not only of food, but also of packaging.

    Objectives of the Presentation:

    Recall the main topics covered by the GMP and refresh concepts for its application. This webinar will give a clear idea on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). These regulations address personnel, equipment and utensils, buildings and facilities and production and process controls. The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulate the meat processing industry. Rules and regulations pertaining to sanitation standard operation procedures enforced by FSIS are published in Title 9 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) in Chapter 3, Part 416. plants.
