The 2014 2nd International Conference on Mechatronics and Information Technology (ICMIT 2014) will take place in Chongqing, China, October 18-19, 2014. A key aspect of this conference is the strong mixture of academia and industry. This allows for the free exchange of ideas and challenges faced by these two key stakeholders and encourage future collaboration between members of these groups. The 1st/2013 International Conference on Mechatronics and Industrial Informatics (ICMIT 2013) was successfully taken place in Guiling, China, October 19-20, 2013.
