Since 1994, Beit Issie Shapiro's International Conference on Disabilities has been taking place every four years. This event is a unique opportunity for academic, medical and community professionals, researchers, policy makers, service providers, people with disabilities, and family members, to meet with colleagues from around the world and take part in the latest state-of-the-art knowledge, research and practice in the field of disabilities.

It is our goal to improve the lives of all who live with disabilities and their families, and to build a better inclusive society. By bringing together allies who share this vision, we have an opportunity to share best practices and learn from one another.

As a leader in the field of disabilities in Israel, and Special Consultant to the UN Economic and Social Council, Beit Issie Shapiro is holding the upcoming conference in light of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
