Call For Papers - CFP
C3S2E 2015 :Eighth International C* Conference on Computer Science & Software EngineeringKeio University Yokohama, Japan and On-line on ConfSysJuly 13-15. 2015C3S2E 2015 Call for Papers/Participation/Special Track ProposalsC3S2E15[*] is the eighth in a series of annual internationalconferences addressing the needs of the academic community incomputing science and software engineering. The objective ofC3S2E is to meet annually to exchange ideas on current issues andfocus on new challenges from both the theoretical and applicationaspects of CSE. C3S2E encourages the participation ofpractitioners from governmental and non-governmental agencies, industry, and academia not only from CSE but also from otherdisciplines with the potential of collaboration. The meetingoffers participants a chance to broaden their insight into themulti-facets of CSE and emerging technologies while exploring R&Dideas in other disciplines as well, where CSE can make meaningfulcontributions.C3S2E invites quality papers describing original ideas and newfindings on applied technological and theoretical aspects of CSEor in other disciplines with potential for applying and extendingthe CSE horizons. In particular we welcome submissions describingwork on integrating new technologies into products andapplications, on experiences with existing and novel techniques, and on the identification of unsolved challenges. We considerthis meeting to be an unique and important forum to discussinsights into applying and extending all aspects of computing andsoftware engineering methodologies in novel situations. Please email special track proposal to the contact given below. This year C3S2E2015 is co-located with IDEAS2015.TopicsThe scope of the conference includes the following topics but isnot restricted to these areas in computing and softwareengineering: following are some of the topics typically used bycomputer scientists to describe their interests.Algorithms Graph theory Applications Human computer interaction Artificial intelligence Image processing Automata theory Information Retrieval Automated reasoning Knowledge base system Bioinformatics Machine learning Compiler theory Machine translation Computability theory Mathematical logic Computational complexity Multimedia Computational linguistic Natural Language Processing Computer architecture Networking Computer graphics Number theory Computer programming Numerical analysis Computer security Operating systems Computer vision Parallel computing Concurrency Programming language Cryptography Quantum computing theory Data Models Reverse engineering Data mining Robotics Data structures Scientific computing Data warehousing Semantic Web Digital library Semi-structured data Distributed computing Software engineering Expert Systems Speech synthesis and recognition Formal methods Super computing Functional Programming Symbolic computation Game theory Web database Track(Targeted Session) ProposalAs in the past, C3S3E 2015 will include tracks (targeted session) oncurrent topics of interest to the community. If you and your colleagues would like to include such a track, please contact us ASAP (before Feb 15, 2015). Please include the topics, the track chair and the proposed addition to the program committee to handle the submissions for the track. The submission would be via the C3S2E 2015 pages on ConfSys.Invited TalksA number of invited speakers would round up the final program of C3S2E'15.Conference VenueTaking into account, the increasing cost of registration andtravel costs, as well as the CO2 contribution due to the movementof people over large distances, we have decided to experimentwith holding this meeting with both a 'real' and a 'on-line' partwithout sacrificing the quality. Hence, the paper submission andreview process would be as in the past. All papers would bereviewed by the program committee. In the past there were over3.5 reviews paper paper and this practice would be continued. The meeting would be held at the venue as per schedule. However, for those authors whose budget and/or conscience dictate thatthey not travel, we offer to have their presentation available online. Such presentations would include audio presentations alongwith the traditional slides. It must also have full contactinformation(email, phone number and Skype or similar address).Conference PublicationThe conference proceedings will be published by ACM. A version of theproceedings to be distributed to the attendees would be prepared BytePressImportant DatesAll the dates are given on the milestone page on ConfSys dynamicweb site for C3S2E (accessible to ConfSys signed up users).
