Welcome to 2nd International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics 2015 (EECSI 2015)

Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI), Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA), IEEE Indonesian Section SP/ED/E/PES Joint Chapter & IEEE Indonesian Section Computer Society Chapter organize the conference on 19-21 August 2015 in Palembang, Indonesia. This event is intended to provide technical forum and research discussion related to electrical, electronics, instrumentation, control & telecommunication engineering, computer science and informatics. The Conference is aimed to bring researchers, academicians, scientists, students, engineers and practitioners together to participate and present their latest research finding, developments and applications related to the various aspects of electrical, electronics, power electronics, instrumentation, control, computer & telecommunication engineering, signal processing, soft computing, computer science and informatics.

Palembang is one of the oldest cities in Indonesia, and has a history of being the capital city of the Kingdom of Srivijaya, a powerful Malay kingdom, which influenced much of Southeast Asia. The earliest evidence of its existence dates from the 7th century; a Chinese monk, Yijing, wrote that he visited Srivijaya in the year 671 for 6 months. The first inscription in which the name Srivijaya appears also dates from the 7th century, namely the Kedukan Bukit Inscription around Palembang in Sumatra, dated 683.Palembang's main landmarks include Ampera Bridge and Musi River, the latter of which divides the city into two. The north bank of river in Palembang is known as Seberang Ilir and the south bank of the river in Palembang is known as Seberang Ulu. The Seberang Ilir is Palembang's economic and cultural centre and the Seberang Ulu is its political centre.
