    Location/Venue:
Shanghai is located in the Yangtze River Delta at the point where Chinese main waterway completes its 5500-kilometer journey to the Pacific. Shanghai is China’s most comprehensive industrial and commercial city, ranking the first in population and population density. The city has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, and early June of Shanghai is a golden season of the year with pleasant climate, ranging between 18ºC to 25ºC.
The city is undergoing one of the fastest economic expansions the world has seen. Since 1992, the city has maintained a double-digit annual GDP growth rate. While it can't match the epic history of Beijing or Xi'an's grander sights, Shanghai is the epitome of modern China and a cosmopolitan city featuring modern architectures, fine dining and contemporary urban living. Especially it is very exciting that Expo 2010 will be held in Shanghai from May 1 to October 31, 2010.
ICT2010 will be held in the RENAISSANCE, near Zhongshan Park which is designed to provide wholesome entertainment and is the ideal place in the city to escape from the hectic schedule of daily life. See Venue/Directions for further details.
