    Call For Papers - CFP

2nd Annual World Conference on Supply Chain Management (WCOSM-2016) is an avenue for you to interact with top academics and practitioners in related fields. They will inspire you with rich content and expert insights delivered via refereed papers in line with the conference’s theme of “Supply Chain Management ?The next decade”.

On behalf of the Program Committee of 2nd Annual World Conference on Supply Chain Management (WCOSM-2016), we are pleased to invite you to submit your research proposals for Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations or Virtual Presentations which to be held during 09-11 February 2015 at Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, Chiang mai, Thailand.

The scheduled conference organised by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka, will provide a research platform for academics, scholars, thinkers, practitioners, and corporate and public policy-makers around the world to exchange knowledge, discuss issues, share innovations, and build networks.

Nowadays supply chains have become increasingly important owing to their impact in meeting the needs of end consumers. Traditional supply chains of the past were vertical supply chains, with company owning its supply base. However present day supply chains look totally different: there is outsourcing, focus on organisations’ core competencies, and reliance on suppliers who could be on the other side of the globe. Hence, with massive changes in the design of supply chains comes the realisation that management of the supply chain is critical and we need to be in total control of it. We might not want to own the supply chain, however we would still need to retain a high degree of its control to best serve the needs of our customers.

We welcome proposals for papers from researchers, scholars and practitioners at all levels in the education system that address different aspects of supply chain management. Topics of interest for submission include the following themes, but are not limited to.
