International Conference on Economic and Social Studies (ICESoS) is a scientific platform that brings social science researchers together to discuss subjects related to regional economic development particularly in the context of Balkan region.

Since this year’s conference emphasises entrepreneurship and innovation all scientific and business groups in the Western Balkan region will be invited to submit papers in this area with special consideration given to papers that address the conference theme. Those papers will be given priority when considering which paper will be included a special issue planned for this conference.

As in many parts of the world, countries of Balkan region are struggling with transition and economic challenges. ICESoS’16 is therefore intended to be a publication venue for those researchers who will bring new insights into the region’s business environments.

Selected papers will be published in three channels:

1. Refereed papers will be published in the Journal of Economic and Social Studies (JECOSS) and in the Eurasian Journal of Business & Economics;

2. Refereed conference proceedings will be published in the proceeding book of ICESoS 2016.

o Abstract acceptance notifications: March 20, 2016

o Conference fee payment deadline: March 25, 2016

o Conference dates: April 21-22, 2016

o Full paper submissions due: May 15, 2016
