This year's AARESOC WBICBM themed "Managing in an increasingly complex and hypercompetitive global business environment", will be focusing on current research around understanding the diverse managerial and operational issues businesses face as more and more industries become hyper-competitive. The disruption of the transportation, automobile, healthcare and accommodation industries by Uber, Tesla, Apricot Forest and Airbnb respectively alongside others, have forced practitioners and scholars to evaluate the emerging issues established and entrenched businesses face as well as emerging managerial skills needed to manage in these rapidly changing business environments. We invite scholars as well as practitioners to submit articles for presentation at the AARESOC WBICBM, 2016.
