Call For Papers - CFP
The International Academic Forum (IAFOR), in conjunction with its global university and institutional partners, is proud to announce The Asian Conference on Ethics, Religion & Philosophy 2017 (ACERP2017).This international and interdisciplinary conference will act as a centre for academics, practitioners and professionals to discuss new research in the Ethics, Religion & Philosophy. ACERP2017 will create opportunities for the internationalisation of higher education and sharing of expertise. We invite professionals from all corners of the world to develop policies, exchange ideas, and promote new partnerships with organisations and peers. The Asian Conference on Ethics, Religion & Philosophy 2017 (ACERP2017) will be held alongside The Asian Conference on Psychology and the Behavioral Sciences (ACP2017). Registration for either of these conferences will allow participants to attend sessions in the other.Conference Theme: “Identity” & “History, Story, Narrative”The conference themes for ACERP2017 are “Identity” and “History, Story and Narrative”, and the organisers encourage submissions that approach this theme from a variety of perspectives. These dual themes are complimentary in that they hope to excite research on a variety of subjects related to personal and group Identity, as well as the histories, stories and narratives that help situate us within communities and societies, and in the wider world in which we exist.Crises of individual identity include losses and questioning of faith, of concepts of “truth” and “right”, and of ethical and religious societal responses to changing norms in different countries. These questions of identity go right to the heart of what it is to be a human. This conference also asks us to consider the connected notions of history, story and narrative within the context of ethics, religion, and philosophy, however, the submission of other topics for consideration is welcome and we also encourage sessions across a variety of interdisciplinary and theoretical perspectives.Submissions are organised into the following thematic streams:Philosophy - Philosophy and ReligionPhilosophy and the ArtsPhilosophy and Public PolicyPhilosophy and TechnologyPhilosophy and CulturePhilosophy and EducationPhilosophy and Peace StudiesComparative PhilosophyLinguistics, Language and PhilosophyEthics - Medical EthicsBusiness and Management EthicsEthics in EducationEthics, Law, and JusticeEthics and GlobalizationEthics and ScienceComparative EthicsLinguistics, Language and EthicsReligion - Theism and AtheismFeminism and Religious TraditionsReligion and EducationReligion and Peace StudiesMysticism, Faith, and Scientific CultureInterfaith DialogueComparative ReligionLinguistics, Language and ReligionInterdisciplinary - Conflict Resolution and Mediation StudiesSubmit your research and join the discussion.
