    We accept abstracts of

    research papers of about 300 words to be considered for oral presentations or poster

    exhibition until September 30th and acceptance will be notified case by case until the 15th of

    October. Full research papers of accepted abstracts should be sent by 31st October if it to be

    reviewed for publication in the Conference Proceedings which will be a Peer Reviewed

    publication of the Centre for Heritage Studies.

    The following themes in heritage and cultural perspectives would be appropriate for the

    conference:

     Theoretical aspects on mobility and migration of peoples, goods and ideas through land

     Tracing ancient tracts, cart roads and highways

     Packed- animal transportation

     Construction of roads, bridges, tunnels and roadside monuments

     History of automobiles and railways

     Pilgrim routes, tour itineraries and old travelogues

     Laws, regulations and customs related to land transportation

     Folklore, folk songs, writing, paintings and decorations of vehicles and roads

     Public behavior and culture on roads and roadsides

     Conservation and preservation of vantage vehicles and locomotive heritage
