GHEDEX, the Global Higher Education Exhibition has enjoyed continuous success while establishing itself as an excellent platform for promoting accredited courses and enrolling students from across Oman. Annually, GHEDEX attracts over 25,000+ attendees including students, parents and academic representation. Patronized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and organized by OITE, GHEDEX will take place from 16-18 April 2018 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over the years, GHEDEX has received support from 12+ international education bodies and participation from over 200+ universities from 25+ higher education destinations covering Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Cyprus, Finland, France, Egypt, Germany, Ireland, India, Jordan, Korea, Lithuania, Malta, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Poland, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saint Lucia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Turkey, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America. New introductions at GHEDEX 2018 include the Education Technology Pavilion (focusing on the latest technology gadgets and apps that will enhance classroom experiences, teaching procedures and student performances) and the Counsellor Forum (hosting B2B matchmaking opportunities between counsellor and participating institutions with specific focus on career guidance strategies and development in specialist areas). A key feature of GHEDEX is the MoHE UG and PG scholarship briefing for overseas universities with an accompanying networking luncheon. Additionally, the GHEDEX Conference aims to update 150+ academicians and university representatives on teaching methodologies and inspire student entrepreneurship through 20+ rounds of discussions hosted by embassies and universities.
