    Nuremberg, October 17, 2017

The Open Source Monitoring Conference (OSMC) is primarily aimed at administrators, developers and decision-makers from the OS environment. The wide-ranging conference program offers the opportunity to actively deal with open source monitoring topics both for beginners and long-time industry experts.

On the first conference day there is the possibility to participate in one of four workshops, remaining cards are only available for "Ansible - Configuration Management".

On the last day of the conference there will be again a hackathon due to the great success in the previous years, in which the participants are invited to contribute their own ideas and work independently on small projects of their own. All the defined topics are “Open NMS”, “Mgmt Config”, “Zabbix”, “Elastic” and “Icinga”. The registration can be done via the official conference website.

The lectures will be held on 22 and 23 November 2017. A broad spectrum is covered here, covering the three themes of Project, Technology and User Story. This year, excellent speakers such as Alba Ferri Fitó from Vodafone, Caleb Hailey from Sensu and Kris Buytaert from Inuits will be part of the event.

The Open Source Monitoring Conference annually attracts over 300 open source enthusiasts from all over the world to Nuremberg and is the largest conference in this field. All information on the conference, as well as the last tickets, are available at www.osmc.de.
