Call For Papers - CFP
*** LAST CALL FOR PAPERS ***24th International Symposium on Methodologies forIntelligent Systems (ISMIS 2018)St. Raphael Resort, Limassol, Cyprus, 29-31 October, 2018http://www.cyprusconferences.org/ismis2018*** Extended Deadline: 28 May, 2018 ***WELCOMEISMIS is an established and prestigious conference for exchanging the latestresearch results in building intelligent systems. Held twice every three years, the conference provides a medium for exchanging scientific research andtechnological achievements accomplished by the international community.SCOPEThe scope of ISMIS is intended to represent a wide range of topics onapplying Artificial Intelligence techniques to areas as diverse as decisionsupport, automated deduction, reasoning, knowledge based systems, machine learning, computer vision, robotics, planning, databases, information retrieval, etc. The focus is on research in intelligent systems. The conference addresses issues involving solutions to problems that arecomplex to be solved through conventional approaches and that require thesimulation of intelligent thought processes, heuristics and applications ofknowledge. The integration of these multiple approaches in solvingcomplex problems is of particular importance. ISMIS provides a forum and ameans for exchanging information for those interested purely in theory, those interested primarily in implementation, and those interested in specificresearch and industrial applications.INVITED SPEAKERS• Michael May - Siemens, Munich, Germany• Jean-Marc Petit - INSA Lyon and Université de Lyon, FranceTOPICSISMIS 2018 is intended to attract individuals who are actively engaged bothin theoretical and practical aspects of intelligent systems.
