Call for Paper 2018 International Conference on Energy Technology Innovation(ETI 2018)--EI/Scopus Nov. 5 - 7, 2018| American University of Madaba,Jordan Web: http://www.eti2018.org/ 2018 International Conference on Energy Technology Innovation(ETI 2018) will be held in American University of Madaba,Jordan during Nov. 5- 7, 2018. This conference is aimed at providing a platform for all researchers and engineers to share ideas, highly developed skills and successful practices to others. We would like to invite you to join us in this important event and share your recent advance development and research finding in Energy Technology Innovation to all attendees. Besides, it is also a good opportunity for you and your family to enjoy the culture and view in Jordan. We are looking forward to seeing you in ETI 2018. ●Publication and Indexing All the accepted papers will be published in the volume of Conference proceeding, which will be indexed by Ei Compendex, CPCI, Scopus, IET and other academical databases. Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in international journals. ●Speakers Prof. Raed Abd-Alhameed, University of Bradford, UK Raed Abd-Alhameed (M’02, SM’13) is Professor of Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Engineering at the University of Bradford, UK. He has long years’ research experience in the areas of Radio Frequency, Signal Processing, propagations, antennas and electromagnetic computational techniques, and has published over 500 academic journal and conference papers; in addition he is co-authors of three books and several book chapters. At the present he is the leader of Radio Frequency, Propagation, sensor design and Signal Processing; in addition to leading the Communications research group for years within the School of Engineering and Informatics, Bradford University, UK. Prof. Ahmad Harb, German Jordanian University, Jordan Prof. Ahmad Harb receive the Ph.D. degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, in 1996, in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Harb was the dean of School of Natural Resources Engineering at German Jordanian University (2011-2013). Currently, he is a Professor of Energy Systems at Energy Engineering Department, German Jordanian University. Dr. Harb is IEEE senior member. Dr. Harb is a founder and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Modern Nonlinear Theory and Applications, (IJMNTA), USA. Dr. Harb has published more than 70 journal articles and conference proceedings.Recently, Dr. Harb published the second edition of Power Electronics Book, by Springer, 2018. His research interests include power and energy system analysis and control, renewable energy systems, modern nonlinear theory (bifurcation & chaos), linear systems, power system planning, and power electronics. Prof. Yahia M.M. Antar, Queen's University in Kingston, Canada, Life Fellow of the IEEE He has authored or coauthored over 200 journal papers, several books and chapters in books, over 450 refereed conference papers, holds several patents, has chaired several national and international conferences, and has given plenary talks at many conferences. He has supervised and co-supervised over 90 Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses at the Royal Military College and at Queen’s University, several of which have received the Governor General of Canada Gold Medal Award, the Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis of the Division of Applied Science, as well as many Best Paper Awards in major international symposia. He served as the Chair of CNC, URSI (1999–2008), Commission B (1993–1999), and has a cross appointment at Queen’s University in Kingston. Prof. Hassan BevraniUniversity of Kurdistan, IranSpeach Title: Frequency Control Challenges in Modern Power GridsHassan Bevrani received PhD degree in electrical engineering from Osaka University in 2004. He is a full professor, the Program Leader of Micro/Smart Grids Research Center (SMGRC), and Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Kurdistan. Over years, he has worked with Osaka University (Japan), Kumamoto University (Japan), Queensland University of Technology (Australia), Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan), Centrale Lille (France), and Technical University of Berlin (Germany). He is the author of 6 international books (including Robust power system frequency control, Springer, 2009; Intelligent automatic generation control, CRC Press, 2011; Power system monitoring and control, IEEE-Wiley, 2014; Microgrid dynamics and control, Wiley, 2017; and Optimization in Electrical Engineering, Springer, expected 2018), 15 book chapters, and more than 300 journal/conference papers. Prof. Bevrani is a senior member of IEEE and he was the gust editor of three volumes of Elsevier Energy Procedia. His current research interests include Smart grid operation and control, power system stability, Microgrid dynamics and control, and Intelligent/robust control applications in power electric industry.
