    About the conference

    E- and M-Business is a highly innovative field, which is exposed to constant development and change. This year, the first International Workshop on Entrepreneurship in Electronic and Mobile Business is launched as an initiative for researchers to discuss upcoming trends and current challenges within research and the resulting managerial implications from different perspectives. We welcome both conducted studies and work in progress. We are expecting 15-20 papers presented at the workshop.

    IWEMB 2017 is a joint initiative of the Center of Advanced E-Business Studies (CAEBUS) at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany, and the International College of the National Institute of Development and Administration (ICO NIDA) in Bangkok, Thailand. We want to offer a platform for researchers in the fields of E- and Mobile-Business in order to generate relevant new insights within an international exchange of ideas.

    Relevant Topics

    All submissions should have a clear focus on electronic or mobile business. The focus should be reflected in the title of the submission. Submissions without a relevance on electronic and mobile business will not be considered for review.

    Submission information

    Important Dates

    - Full paper (long & short): 15. May 2018

    - Notification of full paper acceptance: 30. June 2018

    - Registration period: 10. August - 15. September 2018

    - Camera ready: 15. September 2018

    General requirements for submission:

    - English language

    - 2-4 pages (max. 4,000 words) for short papers

    - 6-8 pages (max. 8,000 words) for long papers

    - Harvard citation style

    - Times New Roman, 11pt.

    The structure shall contain a comprehensive summary of the paper content, an introduction including background information or a literature review respectively, the utilized methodology, the results and managerial implications or conclusions if applicable. Submissions must be handed in as originals; they must not be or have been published or even accepted for other publications aside from this conference.

    All papers will be peer-reviewed before acceptance or rejection.

    Please note that it will be no blind review – the names of the authors need to be provided when submitting the paper.

    Doctoral Workshop

    We are offering a doctoral workshop for young researches. Papers can be long or short papers. The doctoral workshop will be at day 2 of the event in parallel of other workshop sessions. Participating doctoral candidates will get comprehensive feedback from researchers with an international reputation in the field.
