Call For Papers - CFP

Researchers, academics, professionals and other interested delegates are particularly invited to submit papers reporting their works and/or research outcomes related to innovation in the theme and tracks as described below.

Conference Theme

The theme of the conference is: Innovation and its technological, business, or societal perspectives.

Parallel Session Tracks

The theme will be addressed in invited talks and submission of papers in 6 different tracks, i.e:

Digital Innovation

This topic covers areas such as web/online technology, social media, software technology, UX (user experience), artificial intelligence, ambient technology, Internet of Things.

Food and Health

This topic covers areas such as new food product development and innovation for healthier food choices, food ethics, food security and safety, marketing innovation, healthcare innovation.

Innovation in Finance

This topic encompasses financial service technology, actuarial science, policy and regulations, emerging technology (e.g. blockchain), crowdfunding, risk management, sharia finance.

Innovative Leisure

This topic covers technology adoption in leisure industry, smart tourism and events, event management, cultural tourism, community-based tourism, experience leisure.

Social Innovation

The keywords include social entrepreneurship, humanitarian business, socially responsible supply chain, open innovation for social change.

Sustainability and Resources

The keywords include renewable energy, waste management, sustainable agriculture, water and sanitation, ecology and environment, sustainable design and manufacturing.

The submitted papers are allowed to fit in more than one track, i.e. a combination of several themes. In such case, the authors may choose their preferred track and this will be evaluated by the scientific committee.

Selection of Papers

The submitted papers will be selected for oral presentation or poster presentation at the conference. The selection is based on the quality of the papers as evaluated in a peer-review process.
