    2019 3rd International Symposium on Aviation and Aerospace System Engineering (SAASE 2019). SAASE 2019 is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers( HKSME). The conference will be held in Shanghai, China, from 24-26, May, 2019!

    The conference is an international symposium for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Aviation and Aerospace System Engineering. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. We warmly welcome prospected authors submit your new research papers to SAASE 2019, and share the valuable experiences with the scientist and scholars around the world.

    1.Prof. Ramesh Agarwal, Washington University in St. Louis, USA

    Professor Ramesh K. Agarwal is the William Palm Professor of Engineering in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Washington University in St. Louis. Professor Agarwal is a Fellow of eighteen societies: He has received many honors and awards for his research contributions including the ASME Fluids Engineering Award (2001), ASME Charles Russ Richards Memorial Award (2006), Royal Aeronautical Society Gold Award (2). 007, AIAA Aerodynamics Award (2008), AIAA/SAE 2009 William Littlewood Lecture Award (2009), James B. Eads Award of Academy of Science of St. Louis (2009), ASEE/AIAA John Leland Atwood Award (2009), SAE Clarence Kelly Johnson Award (2009), SAE Frank W. Kolk Award (2009), AIAA Lindbergh Award (2010), SAE Leadership Award (2) 013), SAE Excellence in Engineering Education Award, SAE International Medal of Honor (2015) and AIAA Reed Aeronatuics Award (2015) among many others.

    2.Prof.Youmin Zhang, Concordia University, Canada

    He is a Fellow of Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering (CSME), a Senior Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the Technical Committee (TC) for several scientific societies, including the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety for Technical Processes, the AIAA InfotechatAerospace Program Committee on Unmanned Systems, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society TC on Aerial Robotics and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the ASME/IEEE TC on Mechatronics and Embedded Systems and Applications, and the International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (ICUAS) Association Executive Committee.

    His current research interests include condition monitoring, health management, Fault Detection and Diagnosis (FDD), and Fault-Tolerant Control Systems (FTCS), cooperative Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) of single and multiple unmanned aerial/space/ground/surface vehicles and their applications to forest fires, pipelines, power lines, environment, natural resources and natural disasters monitoring, detection, and protection by combining with remote sensing techniques

    3. Prof. Mesbah Uddin, The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA

    Dr. Mesbah Uddin is the Director of North Carolina Motorsports and Automotive Research Center and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is the current Chair of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International Aerodynamics Forum Committee and a member of AIAA Turbulence Model Benchmarking Working Group.
