    2019 International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing and Intelligent Materials (2IM 2019) will be held in Sanya, China during May 9-11, 2019. 2IM 2019 is Co-organized by Harbin Institute of Technology, Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers (HKSME) and Australian-China Advanced Material and Manufacturing Association, supported by South China University of Technology.The conference is an international forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Intelligent Manufacturing and Intelligent Materials.

    Author can submit full paper to publish in IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering(ISSN: 1757-899X), which will be indexed by EI Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec, and other indexing organizations.

    1. Prof. Ruxu Du,South China University of Technology, China

    Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers), Fellow of ASME (Society of American Mechanical Engineers);His area of research include: design and manufacturing, as well as robotics and automation. He has published over 450 papers in various academic journals and international conferences. He is the associate editor / the members of editorial board of six international journals.

    2. Prof. Kean C Aw,The University of Auckland, New Zealand

    K. C. Aw is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland. He joined the university in 2004 and is currently the Deputy Head of Department (Research). Prior to this academic position, he worked at Intel, Delta Prisma, Altera and Navman for a total of 15 years.

    His main interests are in micro-systems and deployment of smart/functional materials and structures such as conducting polymers, metallic oxides, etc. which act as sensors and actuators in various applications such as bio-sensors, medical/rehabilitation robots, micro-pumps, micro-manipulators, MEMS, energy harvesters, etc.He has over 165 refereed publications (book, book chapters, proceedings and journals).

    3. Prof. Baohua Jia,Swinburne University of Technology, Australia

    Professor Baohua Jia is a research leader at Swinburne’s Centre for Micro-Photonics and Program Leader for Swinburne’s Manufacturing Futures Research Institute. Her research is focused on a range of areas includes laser nanofabrication of novel photonic nanostructures, investigation of functionality and nonlinear effects inside 3D photonic nanostructures, development of active photonic devices facilitated with nanoemitters and development of novel nanoplasmonic devices with laser nanofabrication. She also examines the employment of nanostructures and nanomaterials for solar energy harvesting and storage research, and has recently focused her research on laser interaction with two-dimensional materials and functional devices. Professor Jia’s research findings on cutting-edge nanophotonics solar cells has been highlighted in the MIT Technology Review with more than 150 media reports worldwide. From 2006-2012, Professor Jia served as a Project Manager/Project Leader for the Centre for Ultrahigh-bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems (CUDOS, an Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence) managing the key flagship projects ‘3D bandgap confinement' and 'Nanoplasmonic’. Alongside her research and academic work, she is also the honorary treasurer of Australian Optical Society.
