    The aims of PACCON 2011 are to provide a timely forum and bring together researchers and developers of pure and applied chemistry from all over the world to review, discuss, and disseminate their ideas and researches which address diverse issues related to chemistry and technology applications in the context of sustainable development, and a novel global knowledge to promote the quality of life. The conference engages itself in the celebration of the International Year of Chemistry named by IUPAC for the year 2011 to increase the public appreciation and understanding of Chemistry. It also joins the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Marie Curie’s receipt of the Nobel Prize for chemistry to honor women in Science. Moreover, it passionately pursues the spirit of collaboration and exchanges the experience and knowledge at all levels.
