    GIS4SmartGrid 2019

    24-26 September 2019 | Berlin

Following outstanding feedback for the launch event, join leading utility GIS experts for the 2nd edition of GIS4SmartGrid 2019, the only conference focussed purely on GIS for the electrical power sector. This case study led agenda examines how GIS is rapidly growing into a central pillar of utilities’ digital transformation, and how it can be better leveraged to meet the rapidly increasing demands of the smart grid. It explores both the technical challenges of integrating GIS with other critical network systems while improving data quality and governance, and also explores a series of innovative use-cases for GIS from utilities across Europe.

The agenda features 14+ case study presentations from end users in the electrical transmission and distribution sectors. Alongside the main conference programme the conference also features end-user driven roundtable discussions, a technology-innovation panel exploring the latest developments in GIS systems and tools, a targeted exhibition of the most innovative solutions for electric utilities, a tutorial on system integration, and live-demo labs offering audience members the chance to get their hands on the latest products.
