This one-week online event aims to bring together for the first time pediatric and neonatal intensivists, adult intensivists, as well as industries, biologists and pharmacologists in the field of surfactant in order to increase interdisciplinary awareness.

Organised by Prof. Daniele De Luca (MD, PhD), the scientific programme will be structured with 15-min short talks (followed by the same amount of time for discussion) on the topics of surfactant for different diseases, different critically-ill patients, different methods of administration and biological topics. At the same time, the programme ensures an equal discussion between adult and PICU/NICU, and between clinical and basic/translational research.
