Call For Papers - CFP
CALL FOR PAPERSIn the last decade telecommunication capabilities and subscriber usage have changed dramatically, especially for mobile Internet services. Mobile/Wireless accesses are typically preferred due to the intrinsic benefits they bring, especially for ubiquitous connectivity; on the other hand the emerging services, customers' expectations and providers' constraints, altogether, urge on full technical solutions, including features like QoS, Resource Management, Content Management, AAA. Nonetheless a wide range of complementary standards cover different issues and are expected to interwork, providing extensive connection opportunities. All in all Broadband Wireless Access Networks (BWA) are supposed to continue their growth and enhancement path towards a unified, ubiquitous and seamless multi-standard coverage. For this reason the workshop FlexBWAN mainly focuses on solutions providing smart techniques for the flexible adaptation and integration of existing wireless solutions, particularly those originally meant for best-effort access.Download here the call for paper as PDFTopics include, but are not limited toService-Oriented Adaptation of Current and Future BWA Techs (e.g. UMTS, LTE, 802.16x, 802.22)Green Networking in BWA NetworkHeterogeneous Multi-Access Networks, Vertical and Horizontal IntegrationSelf-Configuration and Self-Optimization in BWA NetworksQoS and QoE in Mobile and BWA NetworksResource Management, Admission Control, and Scheduling in BWA NetworksBroadcasting and Multicasting in BWA NetworksMicro and Macro Mobility Management in BWA NetworksBWA Network ManagementCapacity Planning and Traffic Engineering in BWA NetworksCharacterization of BWA TrafficTraffic, Mobility and Channel Models in BWA NetworksDesign and Evaluation of Testbeds and Field TrialsExperiences/Lessons from Recent DeploymentsAlternative Network Deployments, Dense Networking for Wireless Access purposeCross-Layer Optimization Concepts and Experimental EvaluationImportant DatesPaper Submission Deadline: March 7, 2011 23:59:00 EST Acceptance Notification: 25/04/2011Camera Ready Due: 13/05/2011Paper Submission GuidelinesSubmitted manuscripts must be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format (double-column, 10-pt font) and must be submitted via EDAS ( http://edas.info//N10091 ) as PDF files. The manuscripts should be no longer than 6 pages.Submitted papers may not have been previously published in or be under consideration for publication in another journal or conference. The Technical Program Committee reserves the right not to review papers that either exceed the length specification or have been submitted or published elsewhere.Accepted papers will be published in proceedings that will be available through IEEE Xplore.
