    Due to overwhelming requests for extended time, we are obliged to extend the deadline for submission to the above conference which will be held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, East Malaysia. Since 1993, APCC has served as a forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss topics related to advanced information and communication technologies and services, while at the same time opening the door to the world of industry and users. The conference will be collocated with the 10th IEEE Malaysia International Conference on Communications (MICC2011) which, for this event, will focus on the subject of Communications for the Rural Communities.

    Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. Research areas covered by the conference include but are not (necessarily) limited to mobile and wireless networks, optical communications, coding theory, Internet technologies and wireless sensor networks.

    All papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers of APCC 2011 will be included in IEEE Xplore listing subject to final clearance. The paper submission procedure will be managed via EDAS: http://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=10399. Papers should be a maximum of six (6) pages including figures, tables, references and appendices. Please use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or Latex format. Prospective authors are expected to present their papers at the conference, and at least one author must register at the full rate for publication.

    TUTORIAL:

    We are also inviting proposals for full day tutorials on topics of current interests in the industry and the academia. Proposals should highlight the subject matter main message in the form of a synopsis, and a short biography of the presenter.
