    AIMS AND HISTORY

The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) is an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge among researchers and developers concerned with virtual reality software and technology. This year, VRST 2009 is co-sponsored by ACM and the Virtual Reality Society of Japan (VRSJ). VRST 2009 will provide an opportunity for VR researchers to interact, share new results, show live demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging directions for the field.

ACM VRST 2009 seeks original, unpulbished papers documenting original research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications, from all areas of virtual, mixed and augmented reality.
