Call For Papers - CFP
The Eighth Annual International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems:Computing, Networking and Services (MobiQuitous 2011) will provide a forum for practitioners and researchers from diverse backgrounds to interact and exchange experiences about the design and implementation of mobile and ubiquitous systems. Areas addressed by the conference include systems, applications, social networks, middleware, networking, data management and services, all with special focus on mobility and ubiquitous computing. http://mobiquitous.org/2011/We solicit technical papers describing original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Submissions should clearly identify how they relate to issues on mobile and ubiquitous systems. Contributions describing an overall working system are particularly of interest. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:Ubiquitous architectures, systems and applicationsWearable computing and personal area networksEnabling wireless technologies (Bluetooth, ZigBee, 802.15.x, WiFi, WiMAX)Ad hoc and sensor network for ubiquitous computingReconfigurability and personalizationWireless/mobile service management and deliverySecurity, privacyand trust of mobile and ubiquitous systemsSocial networksCommunity based computingService and knowledge discovery, matching and composition mechanismsLocalization and tracking in ubiquitous environmentsContext- and location-aware applicationsAgent technologies in ubiquitous, wearable, and mobile systemsEnergy-efficient and green ubiquitous systemsToolkits, testbeds, development environments, and languages for ubiquitous computingRapid prototyping of ubiquitous applicationsMobile and ubiquitous data management and processingData replication, migration and dissemination in ubiquitous environmentsQueries, transactions and workflows in mobile and ubiquitous environmentsMultimodal sensing and interfacesUser generated contentSubmission Instructions:Paper submission will be handled electronically (see the instructions). Authors should prepare an Adobe Acrobat PDF version of their full paper. Papers must not exceed 12 pages single column (US Letter size, 8.5 x 11 inches) including text, figures and references. The font size must be at least 10 points. Pubblication:Papers will be rigorously reviewed by the international technical program committee. Accepted papers will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes of the Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering (LNICST) series.
