It is our pleasure to invite you to the 18th Symposium on Communications and Vehicular Technology SCVT 2011 in the Benelux. Established in 1993, the Symposium on Communications and Vehicular Technology in the Benelux is an annual event organized by the IEEE Benelux Joint Chapter on Communications and Vehicular Technology. The Symposium is aimed at presenting and discussing the latest scientific and technical advances in communication systems and vehicular communication technology.In the evening of Tuesday November 22, an evening session on low-power and low-radiation wireless networking will be organized. The event on Wednesday, November 23, will consist of invited talks, and oral and poster presentations of contributed papers.You are invited to submit papers according to the deadline given below. Examples of results and illustrations should be included. The cover page should include title, name(s) of author(s) with contact person identified, address, telephone and fax number, e-mail address and organization affiliation. Papers should be electronically uploaded before September 12, 2011. The total length of a paper should be minimally 4 pages, but not exceed 6 pages formatted according to the IEEE template.For more details on the paper format and the upload via the website, please visit www.ieeescvtbenelux.org/content/paper-submissionAwardsBest paper award will be given to the best student paper. To qualify for the award, the student has to be the first author of the paper and present the paper himself/herself.
