    The 2009 International Conference on Distance Education and Open Learning (DEOL 2009) will be held in Singapore during October 9-11, 2009. The aim objective of DEOL 2009 is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in Distance Education and Open Learning. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

    Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding, which is also the Volume 45 of the IACSIT Serial Publications. As usual, the proceeding will also be submitted to the major indexing service, such as Thomson ISI (ISTP), IACSIT Database, British Library, Nielsen for indexing. Selected papers will be published in the International Journal of Computer Theory and Engineering (IJCTE).
