Call For Papers - CFP
In recent years, with the aid of engineering and information technology, image and signal processing has emerged as a high-tech field, generating innovation in such areas as medical imaging, health informatics, wireless and remote sensors, watermarking, PACS, MRI, nuclear medicine and medical cybernetics. Scientists and engineers in this field have recently been working towards such advances as developing virtual learning systems for training intravenous catheterization and collecting blood samples, creating artificial organs that mimic natural human organs, conducting telemedicine and telediagnosis, performing surgeries with robots, creating a laboratory-on-a-chip, and watermarking medical data.PurposeThis conference will be an international forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange the latest research, results, and ideas in the areas of imaging and signal processing in healthcare and technology.ScopeThe topics of interest to be covered by ISPHT 2012 include, but are not limited to:SYMPOSIUM 1: IMAGING AND SIGNAL PROCESSINGBiomedical Signal ProcessingBiometricsBiophotonicsComputational Biology and Biological NetworksComputed TomographyData Representation and VisualizationFuzzy Logic and Expert SystemsHapticsHealthcare InformaticsHuman-Computer InteractionImage OntologyIntegrated Medical Image AnalysisMagnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)Medical and Health InformaticsMedical Communication TechnologiesMedical CyberneticsMedical Data CompressionMedical Data StorageMedical Image ProcessingMedical SensorsMedical Signal ProcessingMicroscopyMobile ComputingNuclear MedicineOptical ImagingPicture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)Radiology and RadiographySignal Processing of Physiological SignalsSoftware Languages and Tools for ImagingUltrasound ImagingWatermarking and CryptographyWireless Medical CommunicationsWireless Sensor NetworksSYMPOSIUM 2: TELEHEALTH AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGYAdaptive Telecommunication SystemsAssistive Ergonomic TechnologyAssistive Medical TechnologyAssistive Rehabilitative TechnologyAssistive RoboticsAssistive Software TechnologyBioelectric SensorsBraille DisplaysCognitive RetrainingErgonomic FurnitureGeriatric CareHead-Mounted DisplaysIntelligent Tutoring SystemsMind Reading/Mapping SoftwarePedestrian Mobility AidsPervasive HealthcareProstheticsRehabilitation EngineeringScreen ReadersSmart HomesSpeech SynthesisStroke RehabilitationSurgery SimulationsTactile GraphicsTele-home Healthcare and TelemedicineTelematics SystemsTelemetryTeleroboticsTelerobotics and TelematicsTeletextTraffic TelematicsUbiquitous ComputingVital Signs MonitoringVoice Recognition SoftwareWearable DevicesWeb-based Telehealth
