    Call For Papers - CFP

Nowadays, advanced numerical modeling has been promoted in globally distributed research laboratories alliances due to the development of complicated simulations, such as multi-physics and multi-scale simulations. These applications request comprehensive data format to integrate heterogeneous data based on regular standardized metadata formats, SBML, ISML, HL7, etc. Furthermore, even though the data size of the part of assignment in model data is relatively small, those models are usually assigned to large scale data that often represents geometry of objects. The work flow utilizing web services, etc. can only regulate the bridging each models written by regular standardized metadata formats. No one is talking care of the synthesis ability to consider all the various factors together. Grid computing has had its dream of a global computing. In fact, the real next generation super computer should aime at this theme which can achieve the synthesis computing to perform multi-physics and multi-scale simulations with heterogeneous regular standardized metadata formats assigning distributed large scale data. In those situation, information network, such as "INTERNET", is the lowest fundamental issues to transfer those data beyond continents. The advanced numerical modeling require the "INTERNET" to take care of the total performance so that scientist can get the result as soon as possible .

The workshop, HSNCE, is one of the best opportunities to address above theme in sufficient depth and breadth, and is intended to share knowledge and exchange ideas, thereby promoting new studies and research topics in this area.

We invite not only academic and industrial researchers but also business persons, all who are interested in "Data intensive knowledge discovery based on network and computation" and "Advanced Grid technology". In terms of these aspects, several reports on research, reports or suggestions on business models and so on are welcome
