    The theme of INDIN 2010 is "Information Technologies for Sustainable Development." INDIN 2010 will be held on 13-16th July in Osaka. Osaka is a major metropolitan area of Japan. Its central business district is the modern face of the city, and further urban development is under way. Combining the old and the new, the oriental with the occidental, Osaka offers a variety of scenery to be enjoyed. Known for its rich food culture, Osaka has been a gourmet paradise offering the best from land and sea.

    Special sessions are intended to bring together researchers of small and emerging fields to discuss their latest results and future directions. Proposals for Special Session organization are welcome. Special Sessions on the following topics are under consideration: "Hardware and Industrial Informatics", "Service Engineering", "Manufacturing Scheduling", "P2P and Content Distribution Networking"

    Paper submission

    Prospective participants are requested to electrically submit full papers of their work (6 pages) following the instructions available on the website. Accepted papers will be published in an IEEE proceedings volume that will be included in IEEE Xplore.

    Tutorials

    Tutorials will take place on July 13th, 2010. The following topics are under consideration; â?œInformation technology for sustainabilityâ??, â?œHands-on experience for building automation with LonWorksâ??, â?œIndustrial Informatics in Smart Power Gridsâ??, â?œFrom IEC 61131-3 to IEC 61499: Migration vs. Harmonizationâ??.
