    The International Conference on Semiconductor Photochemistry, SP-3, will be held mid-April at The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. The conference venue is located in the heart of Scotland's largest city, Glasgow.

    These topics will be discussed in keynote and invited lectures and in poster sessions. Typically lectures will 20 minutes in duration with 5 minutes for questions. In general each research group will be allowed only one oral presentation and any others will be as posters.

    The conference will be short (three days) 12-14 April, focussed (few or no parallel sessions) and relatively inexpensive (early bird before 31st December 2009 ca. £150 registration fee for main participants; £75 for students after 31st December 2009 £225 registration fee for main participants; £125 for students) - the conference will be non-profit making. The low conference fee is to encourage more people to attend, especially research students with an interest in the field. There will be a free Civic Reception on the last night of the conference.

    The conference (and registration) is to be held, in the McCance Building on Richmond Street in central Glasgow. Registration will be from 14.00-18.00 on Sunday 11th and 07.30 each morning of the conference. The locations of the McCance Building and all the recommended conference hotels and halls of residence can be viewed on our central Glasgow map.

    A Poster Session with drinks and buffet food will be held on the evening of Tuesday 13th April. Prizes will be given for the best 3 posters.

    On the 15th April a visit to Culzean Castle, followed by an evening poster session and drinks has been arranged.

    A one day International Postgraduate Symposium for research students to present their work to an international audience is on 16th April.

    Civic ReceptionOn the final evening of the conference there will be an evening (7pm) Civic Reception at the glorious Glasgow City Chambers which are only 5 min walk from the conference site ? all are welcome. The reception will be hosted by the Lord Provost. Dress will be informal and a finger buffet and refreshments will be provided.
