However, sustainability requires each of us be wiser in order to save limited natural resources and yet to develop a more advanced society, which means that life-long education and learning is all the more important. For better education and learning, various learning technologies have been proposed. We have to evaluate them in a new perspective focusing on sustainability and create new, innovative learning technologies that will play a decisive role in future education and learning.
