    International Conference on Advances in ICT for Emerging Regions

    ICTer2013

    11th -15th December 2013, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

    We are pleased to announce that the International Conference on Advances in ICT for Emerging Regions (ICTer2013) will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 12th to 15th December 2013. ICTer2013 is IEEE co-sponsor conference and it is the successor to the seminal International Information Technology Conference (IITC) held in Sri Lanka since 1998. It provides a platform where research done in ICT is presented by Computer Scientists and IT Professionals. The proceedings of ICTer2013 will be published in both book and online versions with an ISBN number and also in IEEE Explore and Google Scholar. Selected papers will be invited for publication in the special issue of ICTer Journal (www.icter.org/journal).

    Main conference will take place on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th December 2013 at BMICH, Colombo. In addition to the presentation of selected papers, several Keynote Addresses and Invited talks by leading personalities in the Computing world will be made. The conference will also include pre-conference (11th) and post-conference (14th) high quality tutorials/workshops in areas of current interest in Information and Communication Technology. A student symposium will also be held on 11th December and a special social activitie and a conference tour will be organized on 15th December.

    ICTer2013 conference will focus on important problems and potential solutions in areas of ICT especially impacting the developing world, including but not limited to the following:

    Information system security, privacy and legal issue

    Advances in Databases or Data Mining

    The organizing committee requests you to submit full papers of completed research and development work or ongoing research work in ICT a significant achievement or an impact on society including cutting-edge technology deployment. All submissions will be peer reviewed by the International Review Committee of ICTer2013 conference. Accepted submissions will be invited to be presented at the conference in oral or poster format.

    Submission Schedule:

    Round 1: Submission Deadline on or before 15th April 2013. Notifications including review comments will be issued on or before 31st May 2013.

    Round 2: Submission Deadline on or before 15th June 2013. Notifications including review comments will be issued on or before 15th August 2013.

    Submission of Final Paper (for accepted papers) on or before 1st October 2013.
