Hello colleagues,

As the Chair of IEEE Uruguay Instrumentation and Measurement Chapter, I would like to invite you to the I2MTC Conference; imtc.ieee-ims.org/

The IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC) is the most important international conference sponsored by the IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Society every year.

I2MTC 2014 is coming to Uruguay (South America, IEEE Region 9), at the Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel in Montevideo. We are expecting more than 300 attendees from across the globe, to attend the Keynotes, Tutorials, Special Sessions, Presentations, Posters and Exhibition.

Attractions will include a Special Keynote from Pasquale Arpaia (Team Leader at European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). ; “Beyond the Higgs boson hunting: high--‐performance instrumentation and measurement technologies for testing and tuning particle accelerators at CERN”, technical tours; to Wind Power Plants, Energy Dispatch Centre or Thermal Power Plants, and trips to the International Beach and Casinos at Punta del Este or a two hundred years colony preserved as built, the Colonia del Sacramento town.

If your job includes measuring anything, related to the electrical field, this is the right place for you to be, and to share your work presenting a paper. The organizing Committee will be glad to welcome you in Uruguay on May 12-15 / 2014.
