Progress today is heavily dependent on evolution and
application of Science and Technology as it has always
been at the forefront of the most revolutionizing
changes, and it is only due to the progress in these fields
that mankind has undergone a complete transformation
from the stone age to the current era marked by comfort
and sophistication. Science and Technology are undoubtedly
indispensable for rapid economic development
of country .
The founding stone of the International Bhurban Conference on Applied Sciences
& Technology (IBCAST) is to enhance the spirit of inquiry to find facts and rely
upon them in the developing countries. The synergy formed through amalgamation
of such activity is readily accepted as it is based on the universal truth. This series
of conferences are being organized since 2002. The 7th IBCAST will be held from
11?14 January, 2010 at National Centre for Physics (NCP), Islamabad organized
by Centres of Excellence in Science & Applied Technologies (CESAT), Islamabad.
In the last six conferences more than 800 papers have been presented and 2900
participants attended the conference. It is the largest scientific event in Pakistan
which is held regularly. It covers a wide range of topics in applied sciences and
technology.
The 7th IBCAST will consist of the following six activities:
1. Advanced Materials
2. Control & Simulation [with special session on DSP]
3. Computational Fluid Dynamics
4. Wireless Communication & Radar
5. Underwater Acoustics
6. Medical Sciences
