ICON OF FAITH. INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH (IFIJISR) promotes scientific research into various fields. The Journal has two issues, online and in print version, twice a year in January and June.

ICON OF FAITH INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, is one which belongs to the Faculty of Orthodox Theology and Education Sciences, “Valahia” University, Târgoviște, Romania.

This Journal provides a platform for the latest scientific research theological and moral-education, encouraging approaches from different areas and points of view. Therefore, the theme of the journal is, from the beginning, a religious one with a wide opening towards universal cultural values.

IFIJISR includes topics like: the future of Interdisciplinary Research; Christian Political Economy; unity of the Arts and Sciences; religious resurgence in the Postmodern World; the Family and the World in the 21-th Century; problems of Philosophy, Ethics and Faith; Civil Society and Religion in the 3-rd Millennium; re-inventing Liberal Arts Education; the path towards Culture of Life; Science and Religion: convergence to an Open Society; Globalization & its shortcomings; Christianity & Democracy et alia.

IFIJISR promotes interdisciplinary approaches to any of the world's religious/spiritual traditions and various fields: THEOLOGY, HISTORY OF RELIGIONS, IDEOLOGIES AND PHILOSOPHIES, PHILOSOPHY OF RELIGION, PSYCHOLOGY OF RELIGION, AND MORAL EDUCATION

Our Journal, through its accessible results of scientific research contributes to an ongoing educational process in the contemporary society.

Journal and articles of the ICON OF FAITH. International Journal of Interdisciplinary Scientific Research is indexed in: CEEOL, ERIH, DOAJ, CITIFACTOR, SCIPIO, OAJI, ELECTRONIC JOURNAL LIBRARY (EZB), WORLDCAT, COPAC, and more other data bases.

Articles submitted for publication normally ranges from 3000 to 10000 words, preferably written in English.
