    The 5GiSC (5G in Smart Cities) conference focuses on utilizing the 5G technologies for making our urban environment more sustainable, increasing quality of life and efficiency of urban operation and services, and competitiveness while meeting the needs of present and future generations with respect to economic, social and environmental aspects.

    Mobile cellular networks have become the main communication vehicle for the upcoming connected society. In addition to humans, billions of machines will be connected to the network in the Fifth Generation (5G) cellular communication systems.

    The 5GiSC (5G in Smart Cities) conference focuses on utilizing the 5G technologies for making our urban environment more sustainable, increasing quality of life and efficiency of urban operation and services, and competitiveness while meeting the needs of present and future generations with respect to economic, social and environmental aspects.

    This year, 5GiSC 2015 will be collocated with Smart City 360 Summit 2015 at Toronto, Canada, from October 13-16. The latest outcomes of these enabling technologies will offer plenty of opportunities for policy-makers, decision makers, researchers and implementers to learn, share, and collect experience sand best practices on the use of 5G to plan and operate sustainable urban communities. Scientific results, design concepts and technical solutions will be presented, as well as approaches, and professional experiences.
