ScopeSmart City 360 Summit - a unique bridge created to bring together researchers, industry and urban leaders to discuss the crucial issues around Smart Cities - will include a session for the presentation of demos to showcase the latest advances in testbeds and services and applications for Smart Cities. Demos are an exciting way to show the progress being made on testbed technologies and the applications that testbeds enable. Topics for demo submissions include, but are not limited to:Wireless and sensor network testbeds and applicationsFuture Internet testbeds and applicationsSoftware-defined networks and virtualized computing platformsSoftware-defined infrastructures and applicationsInternet of Things and 5G testbeds and applicationsSmart Transportation platforms and applicationsSmart Gird platforms and applicationsClean water platformsEnvironmental control platformsSmart home platforms and applicationsSmart building platforms and applicationsSmart factory platforms and applicationsCommunity platforms, services and applicationsImportant datesDemo submission deadline: 30 June 2015Notification of acceptance: 31 August 2015Submissions should be sent to the demo via email infosmartcity360.org with the subject line ‘SmartCity360 2016 Submission’.Format (demo submissions)Demo submissions should consist of a PDF file (maximum of two pages) containing the following information:Title, abstract, and author listIf the demo accompanies a paper submitted to the conference, the title of that paperA description of the demonstrationPhotographs, screen shots, or videos showing the demo setup are welcome, and are not subject to the two-page limit. Tridentcom will provide a table, a power supply, and a network connection to demo presenters. Specific requirements may be considered, but in general demos are expected to be autonomous (no special technical support provided).ReviewDemo proposals will be reviewed by the chairs, and will take into account aspects such as novelty, relevance to the conference, coverage of topics and available resources. Demos will be evaluated without regard to whether the work they demonstrate has been published or not.
