    Call For Papers - CFP

The Scientific Committee invites the submission of abstracts for the HIV & Hepatitis in the Americas Congress 2016. The abstract submission categories are outlined below.

Whilst the meeting will offer multi-lingual facilities (English and Spanish) during oral sessions, all abstracts must be submitted in English.

The deadline for the receipt of abstracts is Monday 1 February 2016.

    Abstract Categories

    ARV-based Prevention

    Clinical Pharmacology

Co-morbidities and complications of disease and/or treatment

    HIV/Hepatitis Co-infection

    HIV and endemic diseases

    HIV and tuberculosis

    HIV and women, including MTCT

    HIV and vulnerable populations

Models of Care/Scale up of treatment

Non-AIDS morbidities and mortality, and ageing

    Opportunistic Infections

    Treatment Strategies and outcomes

    Viral Hepatitis

    Virology and Immunology

All accepted abstracts will be published as a Supplement of a leading Scientific Journal. Abstracts will be available online from the first day of the Congress. If the submitted abstract is accepted for presentation, one of the authors on the abstract will be required to register for the congress and present the abstract.

Given the focus of this meeting and the single-session format, abstracts are more likely to be considered for oral (as opposed to poster) presentation if they contain new information and clinical rather than non-clinical data. Abstracts which have previously been presented at national or regional meetings will be considered for this meeting, recognising that the audience reach may be greater than previously. Abstracts which are ‘encores’ of abstracts from previous international meetings are more likely to be accepted if they contain new or updated information or sub-analyses.
