Dear colleague and researcher,

The International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Business Management (ICIEBM) 2010, organized by Department of Industrial Engineering of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Indonesia and supported by IEEE Indonesia Section, Universiti Malaysia Perlis and ISTMI will be held on 12-13 October 2010 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Theme of the ICIEBM 2010 is “Sustainable Industry and Business towards Future Challenges”.

ICIEBM 2010 aims to provide a forum for students, researchers, academics and practicioners to share the most recent research, theory and practices in industrial engineering and business management fields. Authors are invited to address any of the following topics but are not limited to: ergonomics, intelligent system, manufacturing system, human resource management, supply chain management, operations research, quality control and management, e-business and e-commerce, decision analysis and methods, technology and knowledge management and so on.

The important dates of the conference are:

Full paper submission deadline: 1 July 2010

Notification of full paper acceptance: 15 August 2010

Early registration deadline: 25 August 2010

Normal registration deadline: 1 September 2010

Deadline for submission of final manuscript: 10 September 2010

ICIEBM 2010 Conference: 12-13 October 2010

There will be awards given for best papers which are presented in the ICIEBM 2010. The best papers will also have opportunity to be published in the International Science and Technology Transactions Journal, Canada (www.istpress.com).

A limited free accomodation in the university’s guesthouse will be provided for participants who are needed a free accomodation during the conference.
