For decades, researchers have stressed the interwoven fate of the fields of Medicine and Life Sciences. However, never before have the importance of the mutually dependent nature of these two fields been as profound and valuable as it is today. In fact the Translational Medical Research stream owes its current prominence to the very interdependence of the Medical and Life Sciences as the medical field increasingly seeks to translate scientific outcomes from life sciences disciplines (such as cell biology, microbiology, and genetics among others) into medical applications, tools and frameworks which are then deployed in the the treatment and care of patients. This year's AARESOC WBICMLS themed "Novel Advances in Medical and Life Sciences", solicits completed research, abstracts or proposals which provide novel insights, perspectives and advances in the field of Medicine and Life Sciences. We invite scholars, postgraduate students as well as practitioners to submit papers for presentation at the AARESOC WBICMLS, 2016.
