Call For Papers - CFP
The 7th edition of MobiHealth proposes to continue and extend the focus areas of the first 6 editions with focus on specific research and scientific challenges in the Healthcare Technology domain faced in Europe and globally and hence more interactive input from industry. The essence of the conference lies in its interdisciplinary nature, with original contributions cutting across boundaries but all within the ambit of the application of mobile communications (technologies, standards, solutions, methodologies, …) to the improvement of human health. As such, the conference will have a multi-tier approach: going from implant sensors to ubiquitous patient monitoring environments and technologies from in-hospital to in-home.Scope and TopicsThe main themes will include (but are not limited to): Mobile and e-Health SystemsInnovation in Healthcare TechnologyE-Health servicesMobile and e-Health applicationsInternet of Things (IoT) and Fog Computing in HealthcareWearable and Implantable DevicesData Collection and Data Mining in e-Health ApplicationsMobile and e-Health Circuits and SystemsPrintable Electronics for Healthcare ApplicationsEnergy in Biomedical DevicesHarvesting Management and OptimizationSelf-systems for HealthcareE-Health Software DesignE-Health Application Design for Cellular PhonesDaily HealthcareAdvances in sensor devices for biomedical monitoringIntra-body communication issues (propagation & transmission)Body Area networks (architectures, protocols, scheduling, etc.)Heterogenous and in-/on-/out- networksWearable, outdoor and home-based applicationsData collection and management at hubs, mobile devices and gatewaysEnergy management and optimisation issues in biomedical devices and networksDecision support algorithms for data analysisHealthcare telemetry and telemedicineRemote diagnosis and patient managementAccuracy, reliability, security, protection, identity, privacy, of diagnoses and dataAll-pervasive wireless systems for health applicationsFactoring in the environment (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, etc.)
