    RELEVANCE OF CONFERENCE

    The cofenrence provides an organized framework of national expression by analyzing the themes of Euro-regions, especially the Siret-Prut-Nistru. The importance of this scientific sessions this space is given by the large number of participants from previous editions, the conference theme is interested not only researchers and academics, but also representatives of public authorities and the private sphere, both in Romania and in Moldova and Ukraine, etc. Tenacity organizers did she reach the a - XV edition. So far, during the ten editions already conducted, the conference was attended by about 1,300 people who have signed up to 1400 studies, of which 1000 were published in 31 volumes totaling 9000 pages of text.

    ARGUMENT

    In the context of the world crisis and taking into account the necessity of implementing the EU policies for crossborder cooperation and cooperation between Euroregions, a complex analysis of all the processes contributing to sustainable development is needed.

    The evolution of the society in the area called Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association has always relied on two fundamental dimensions, the natural environment and the culture. The development process in this region was made possible through turning to good account its natural resources, underpinned by cultural and moral values, which shaped the identity of the Euroregion’s inhabitants.

    The topics of the Conference address top fields of economic and social research. They are of special importance as far as development strategies for Eurogions are concerned. The results will be disseminated to the administrative units of Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association.

    The Organizing Institutions acknowledge and appreciate your contribution in the field of crossborder and Euroregional development. Therefore we are honoured to invite you to participate to our scientific manifestation, 14th Edition this year.

    OBJECTIVES

     Evaluate the current state of socio-economic development for Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association. This approach will also present the Euroregion natural and human resources, entrepreneurial capabilities, and historical, geographical, cultural, religious, scientific, artistic and sport realities.

     Stimulate the dissemination of all information available and of the results of scientific researches. Present the Romanian contribution to the sustainable development of Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association. Identify new fields of research and new opportunities for colaboration and cooperation in Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association.

     New proposals for cooperation between researchers from Romania and Republic of Moldova, between the administrative and territorial units of Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion Association, and between businesspeople.

     Encourage university teaching staff, researchers, master students, and PhD students to contribute to the identification of short-, medium- and long-term solutions.

     Present the achievements of other Euroregions that are notorious for their positive results. This approach addresses some fields of knowledge: economics, sociology, agriculture, environment, health, education, culture, tourism, etc.
