Call For Papers - CFP

Chinese International Turbomachinery Conference (CITC) is a series of conference sponsored by the Chinese Journal of Turbomachinery. The first three CITC conferences successfully provided great opportunities for researchers and engineers to exchange academic and industrial achievements in China and worldwide. Particularly, the third CITC, which took place in Chongqing, saw more than 450 participants who contributed 16 invited lectures, 14 keynote presentations and 220 technical papers organized in 14 parallel sessions. With its success, CITC has become a platform of exchanging ideas/solutions and building partnerships across the community of turbomachinery.

To be joined by the manufacturers, users, engineers, researchers and students in turbomachinery,the Fourth Chinese International Turbomachinery Conference (CITC2020) will be held in Guangzhou in April 2020. Once again, serve as a key event for presenting the latest developments and practices by academia and industry. Renowned experts will be invited to give lectures and keynote presentations. Parallel sessions will be organized to address various topics covering aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, aeroelasticity, structural design, rotordynamics and fault diagnosis, among others. Exhibitions will be provided by the organizers at the conference site.

The scope of the conference is the theory, design, numerical simulations, experimental studies, experimental methods and applications in the field of turbomachinery. A large range of machines are covered such as compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, hydro turbines, steam and industrial gas turbines, expanders, refrigeration compressor and aero-engines. Abstracts and papers should be written in English. The guidelines for preparing them can be downloaded from the official website.

Conference Venue

CITC2020 will be held in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province. Guangzhou is one of decorated historical cities in China for its unique and renowned Ling Nan culture of more than 2200 years. Today, it is the fourth largest city in China and one of the most important hubs of Chinese economy.

Publication of Papers

Conference papers will be included in the Online Proceedings in the form of Open Access. Selected papers will be considered for Publication on a special issue of Proc. IME, Part A: Journal of Power and Energy (SCI index), to be edited by Peter Childs and Xavier Ottavy.

Other selected papers will be published on the Chinese Journal of Turbomachinery.
